Last year, 4th of July was spent with 50 people in my back yard. Full of chaos and a bride and groom preparing to be married the next day. This year, it was spent here.... on a quiet ranch tucked in the mountains close to my parent's home. Horses were exercised. Fish were caught. Walks were taken. Food was devoured. Rest was had.
...and pink fields couldn't keep me away. Pink fields. It's an unseen sight here in Wyoming....until this very wet year. In all 30 years I've lived here... I've never seen a pink field near this area. Beautiful.

Sounds like a great 4th. Those fields are amazing!
I was thinking about your back yard last year on the 4th too... and how Brecken made it through one sparkler and then crashed because we had been up since 1 am to fly home in time for the rehearsal!! That was a fun weekend.
Aren't they Beth? I couldn't believe them!
Kara~ I just remember T's hair catching on fire and grandma beating him over the head!
We told that story a lot this weekend- how none of us knew his hair got a spark until we saw grandma beating him! We still laugh about that!
Those fields are gorgeous!
I have to say this fourth wasn't quite as memorable as last year's. I liked us all being together last year- and of course the festivities! LOL, I had forgotten the story about his hair catching on fire!
I have to say, that baby you have featured is ADORABLE :)
