Anti-Burger Burger

I have a confession to make.....
My name is Stacey, I am a picky eater and I have never eaten a hamburger.

There it's out there. Are you surprised? What with all the cooking I do. Well, here's the secret, I love to cook because I know EXACTLY what is in my food.

Actually, I've never eaten anything with hamburger in it either. There is a long list of things I will not eat and how I will eat things. I have gotten 80% better in the last 15 years. Slowly trying things, but I won't eat something I don't like, no matter how many time you ask me or how you plead.

Here's the thing about picky eaters, (we're all the same for the most part)....we will not starve if what you are serving is not something we like and it not some sort of insult to your cooking if we do not like it. People have a hard time with that concept sometimes. I happen to have a really picky eater for a child...(big surprise!!!!) and I think I struggle so much less with him than my parents did with me. At first I tried hard to get him to eat what I wanted him to, but learned that he will not starve himself. No I do not cook separate meals for him but the things he does eat (unless he's visiting a certain uncle's house) are healthy...most days.

Anyway, after that long long senseless tangent, I found a way I would eat a hamburger. It had to me made entirely of sugar!!!!

I found these here at Bakeralla. She put sooooo much more effort into them. But, as I don't really like the look of hamburgers, I don't feel the need to put such effort into them. She also teaches you how to make french fries out of cookie dough.
And ps... she take all her photos on automatic setting. That just amazes me and makes me feel like I'm doing too much work!!!

Oh and P.S.S....
My kiddo didn't want to eat these. He wanted ice cream instead. Yup... he's mine!
