I found this growing in the backyard. I had planted them in July thinking that they probably wouldn't bloom, but lo and behold I was blessed with some sunny sun flowers right at the end of summer. I did a happy dance and then sang "You Are My Sunshine", because that's what I think of when I see sunflowers.
