Harvest Time

The harvest moon has passed, and I haven't done much harvesting. It's time. The garden is done growing. Or better said...we're done watering. We had a great harvest this year. Different, but great. Lettuce, radish, spinach, butternut squash, yellow squash, pumpkin, beans and peas. This was the first year, of 8, that we didn't get tomatoes. They were planted in a shady place, therefore, growing very large plants, but no fruit. Lesson learned. We did however manage to grow giant squash of which we had NO idea what they were .
Later we found out that these squash are Hubbard squash. Still have no idea of what do to with them...so for now they are decoration.
